Canadian Artists of Polish Heritage.
The Canadian Polish Congress would like to thank the Ministry of Multiculturalism and the Gateway Program for their generous support and assistance in helping the Congress provide a website for Canadian artists of Polish heritage, to display their contribution to the heritage of Canada, and to the world.
Visual, Performing, Literary Artists, as well as, the Building Arts (Architects/ Designers) will be featured free on the website.
The website will also provide a calendar of events across Canada, a bulletin board, new works expo, video clips from events, interactive communication, as well as. up to date contacts, etc.
The website is meant to not only facilitate communication and information; but to act as a portal to other websites and other Canadians of different ethnic heritages.
Painters, Singers, Architects, Writers, Journalists, Sculptures, Dancers, Designers, Musicians are all invited to become members for free ----and be able to upload your contact information; profiles, photographs etc as members. As a member - you would then be able to change or update your information as you require.
Posting on the bulletin board or calendar of events by members will allow an exchange of information and greater participation by the community at large. An e-newsletter will eventually be established to relay information to members as well.
The website is meant to be an interactive website and the energy and success will be dependant on the members and their suggestions how to improve the usability of the website.
